Pigs help keep Schiphol airport safe

One of the biggest airports in Europe, Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, has been safeguarded by a patrol of pigs. Their job is keeping geese away from farmlands, situated between the runways. The team of 20 pigs, drafted by the airport, is part of a large-scale campaign to reduce bird casualties from plane collision.
