Bulgarian parliament to vote in a new government
Yesterday, the coalition, headed by “We continue the change”, who won last November’s elections by a landslide, announced their selection of ministers. Today, the parliament is set to vote “for” or “against” the nominated cabinet of ministers.
For a mandate to be approved, 121 votes from members of parliament are needed. The current coalition already has 134 MPs.

After 3 elections cycles in 2021, and after 6 failed mandates, Bulgaria is finally going to have a functioning government.
The nominee for Prime Minister, Cyril Petkov, has stated that the motto of the new cabinet is going to be “zero tolerance for corruption”.
