136 people have become victim of COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours

The mandatory green pass has already had an effect. Vaccination rates have increased noticeably, people are queuing in front of vaccination centers from the early hours of the morning until the late hours of the afternoon. This, however, was hindered by the system crashing a handful of times, sparking speculations of intentional hacker attacks.

Out of 30 772 PCR tests conducted, 4 826 have been positive, which adds up to around 10% of the tested.

Currently hospitalized are a total of 6 685 people.

595 patients have been admitted to intensive care, while 136 have succumbed to the illness.

1 450 people have recovered.

24 042 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
