124 people have become victims of COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours

The number of infections in Bulgaria is still startlingly high. However, vaccination rates in the country during the past 24 hours reached a record level as well.

Out of 50 356 PCR tests conducted, 6 816 have been positive, which adds up to around 13.5% of the tested.

Currently hospitalized are a total of 7 325 people.

608 patients have been admitted to intensive care, while 124 have succumbed to the illness.

2323 people have recovered.

26 327 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
